The Preservation Society of Union City, Indiana-Ohio Progressive Dinner will be held September 28, 2013 at 6 p.m.
The dining experience will be held at Hoosier Place, 310 N. Walnut St., Union City, Indiana—the Old West Side Middle School Building. This historic building was vacated by the schools and purchased and renovated into beautiful affordable housing apartments. Appetizers, Dinner and Dessert will be served in various areas of the building to provide visitors to see and experience the beautiful facility.
The Preservation Society of Union City, In-OH undertakes many restoration projects themselves including The Kirshbaum Building which now houses “Union City Antique Mall”, the Community Room, which is now available for rent, the Union City Museum, Union City Military Display and the Union City Railroad display. Recently, the group has undertaken a property in Union City Ohio, an old brick building on Elm Street which continues to be renovated. All profits go towards funding these projects preserving history in Union City Indiana and Ohio!
